Gyankosh: An Interdisciplinary Journal is an open access annual publication of Guru Gobind Singh College for Women. It aims at critically reflecting on the changing contours of social, cultural, economic, scientific, technological and political processes that have shaped our understanding of the past and the contemporary world. The journal strives to nurture an environment where researchers, authors, collaborators and scholars across all the disciplines  are inspired to do their best in their subject based on their perspectives, life experience and skills. The main objective of the journal is to bring together the academic community of professionals, researchers, and scholars on a common platform, to enrich each others’ work through a constructive dialogue thus encompassing within its fold a platform of true learning. It gives an intellectual call to authors to submit original  papers related to their disciplines.  It is dedicated to publishing high quality articles describing the recent research in all streams of Commerce, Science, Computer and Social Science including viz., Business and  Industrial Relations, Corporate Governance, Development Studies, Physical Education, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Application, Information Technology, Economics, Psychology, Fine Arts, Political Science, Home Science, History, Public Administration, Anthropology, Sociology, English, Hindi, Punjabi, Performing Arts (Music, Theatre and Dance) and  Women Studies.

Peer review process will be followed wherein manuscripts will be examined by editorial team and experts for their review and feedback. The editorial team will communicate and take prior consent from the respective author(s) for their acceptance in given time frame. ‘Gyankosh: An Interdisciplinary Journal’ is a scholarly tribute to the learned minds of past and present which has the power to transform the contemporary world into a better tomorrow.
